About Fleet Alliance

  • Sponsor of SME Company Car of the Year Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018
  • Glasgow-based company manages fleet of more than 25,000 vehicles
  • Best Leasing Broker over 4000 vehicle sales and Best Leasing Broker customer service over 4,000 vehicle sales in the 2016 Leasing Broker Awards

FLEET Alliance sponsors our SME Company Car of the Year Awards for the third successive year – with managing director Martin Brown once again a member of the distinguished expert panel of judges.

Martin Brown said: “We are delighted to support these awards which are of great significance to all at Fleet Alliance.

“The SME sector is our core market, and it is great to gain an ever-closer understanding of the key manufacturers and models that will ultimately be driven by our many SME clients.”

Awards organiser Ralph Morton, Business Car Manager editorial director, commented:

“Fleet Alliance is a hugely respected leasing supplier both to the SME sector and the corporate fleet sector, so I’m really pleased that this award-winning company is supporting these independently judged and influential awards.

“It really does add to the increasing stature of the SME Company Car of the Year awards.”

The search is on for the best cars in the sector, and the best company car programmes available, that suit the SME business sector, amid ongoing changes in company and benefit in kind taxation as well as emission constraints on urban access.

Supported by Fleet Alliance, the SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2018 will crown category winners from Best Value SME Company Car to Best Green SME Company Car as well as the SME Company Car of the Year 2018.

Last year’s overall winner was the Vauxhall Astra 1.6 CDTi Design 110PS ecoFLEX 5dr.

The awards will be judged independently by a panel of experts in the SME automotive sector led by chair Paul Hollick, who is chairman of the Institute of Car Fleet Management and commercial director of The Miles Consultancy.

Ralph Morton said: “It’s critical that small businesses and SME firms running company cars get the expert help that they require.

“Our awards will highlight the best cars in sector and the best company car programmes and support programmes that will make the life of an SME director, charged with looking after the company car programme, so much easier.”
