Fleet Alliance has embarked on a new programme of green initiatives aimed at cutting carbon emissions on its clients’ fleets

Fleet Alliance, winner of Small Fleet Leasing Company of the Year for the second year in a row in the Business Car Manager Small Fleet Leasing awards, are well known for their efforts to help clients achieve lower emissions for their fleets.

Fleet Alliance has already reduced carbon emissions over the past six years, helping clients cut an estimated 7.2 billion grams of CO2 emissions from fleets

Now, Fleet Alliance has extended its green programme with an ‘electric vehicle awareness campaign’ and electric test vehicles with hoping to cut carbon emissions for their clients’ fleets.

Fleet Alliance has already reduced carbon emissions over the past six years, helping clients cut an estimated 7.2 billion grams of CO2 emissions from fleets.

So far in 2014, over 20% of all new cars supplied to their 16000 managed fleet customers have CO2 emissions of under 100gm/km; the average carbon output of all new vehicle orders is now just 122g/km. The UK new car average CO2 emissions output is 128.2g/km, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
