Fly Less Frequently

Are you a frequent flyer, for work or for leisure?

Planes are one of the major creators of carbon emissions.

Think about ways to cut down your air travel.

Many exciting holiday destinations can be reached by coach or train, and if you’re flying to a meeting, could you participate through tele-conferencing instead?

If you do have to fly, then why not combine a business trip and a holiday in one, saving the need for a further flight later in the year?

Find a Greener Way to Work

The daily commute can be a frustrating way to start the day, and it can also be a major contributor to global warming.

More and more people are working from home, saving themselves time, saving money on their fuel costs, and reducing their carbon footprint as well.

Could you talk to your boss about working from home on certain days?

Alternatively, do you have colleagues who live in the same neighbourhood?

If so, it’s time that you arranged a car share. Avoid empty seats whenever possible.
