DEKRA acquires Gain Solutions

DEKRA, the leading global vehicle testing and compliance organisation, has acquired Gain Solutions, a specialist with almost 20 years of experience in end-of-term inspections and fleet management.

DEKRA has acquired Gain Solutions.

DEKRA, which specialises in vehicle testing and compliance, says the acquisition of the end of term inspections and fleet management company will give it a market leading position.

“This acquisition significantly expands our capacity to perform independent vehicle inspections in the UK, for a client base that is increasingly interested in the transparency of neutral vehicle inspections.”

Gain, founded in 2000, is based in Chippenham (Wiltshire) and operates throughout the UK.

In addition to vehicle inspections, Gain offers fleet management, used car coaching and training.

Customers include major OEMs, banks and leasing companies. 

Co-founder and Chairman Robin Watson of Gain and Managing Director Marcus Blakemore will remain and continue to grow the business across all activities.
