UK asset rental and leasing organisation, Dawsongroup plc, has announced the appointment of Robert Taylor as new head and commercial director of its Asset Finance subsidiary. LHE Finance has expanded to become one of the commercial vehicle sector’s leading specialist asset rental firms.

Taylor will oversee LHE Finance’s growth plans from 23rd February 2015, leaving his job role as director of corporate asset finance at Lombard. Previous to this, Taylor worked as head of corporate asset finance in London for Bank of Scotland.

Dawsongroup is committed to this exciting and evolving area of the group’s operations

About his appointment, Taylor commented;
“Dawsongroup is committed to this exciting and evolving area of the group’s operations, and LHE Finance’s advisory approach is exactly how I like my teams to work with their customers.

“So we will continue to build that reputation for partnering with businesses to help them achieve their goals, as well as consider new products and services in partnership with the rest of the Dawsongroup businesses.

“With Dawsongroup’s experience and standing in the sectors we work in, I see massive potential for LHE Finance. Working as part of a dynamic, financially strong and well managed business like Dawsongroup is a very exciting prospect for fulfilling that potential, and a task I am looking forward to immensely.”
Dawsongroup Managing Director, Steve Miller, said;

“We are already among the market leaders in much of what we do, so enjoy a high profile in all our key industry sectors; as well as excellent relationships with our customers and panel of lenders.

We have a clear plan for growth at LHE Finance, and Robert’s entrepreneurial approach is already closely aligned with our own. We are delighted he has chosen to lead the team through this exciting challenge of moving an already successful business forward to even greater success.”
Robert boasts a 30 year career with major UK banks and has been specialist in the field of growth and development of asset finance divisions for nearly 20 years. He is also a Fellow of The Leasing Foundation, The Royal Society of Arts and is a fully Chartered Banker.
