Peugeot UK changes
- David Peel appointed managing director Peugeot UK
- Neil Moscrop is taking early retirement after 36 years with Peugeot UK and PSA Group
DAVID Peel is to be new Peugeot MD with the retirement of brand director Neil Moscrop.
Peel, 50, currently Chief Executive Officer Peugeot Citroen Retail Group UK, will take over progressively before Moscrop, 56, retires at the end of March 2016 after 36 years with the company.
Speaking about his appointment, Peel commented: “I am both proud and delighted to be Peugeot UK’s new managing director.
“The Peugeot product range has recently completed an accelerated invigoration phase, and today has its most appealing line up. I am really excited and passionate about the opportunity to lead Peugeot in the UK and will draw from my considerable retail experience to drive the brand forward.”
David Peel will report to PSA UK director general, Stéphane Le Guével.
Stéphane Le Guével said: “On behalf of everyone at Peugeot UK, I would like to thank Neil for his significant and valued contribution to Peugeot UK and the wider PSA Group for his many years of service, and I wish him a long and happy retirement.”
