SOME business news. Volkswagen tells me there’s a new a new head of fleet for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles: David Hanna.

David is taking over from Chris Black who has left the organisation to ‘pursue interests outside the Volkswagen Group’.

Hanna is currently national fleet sales manager at Audi. So perhaps it’s little wonder that he was chosen for the job. The former head of fleet at Audi is now the head of sales operations at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles – one James Douglas!

But that’s often the way at the Volkswagen Group – execs move around the Group’s brands.

But that does leave a headache for current Audi head of fleet Tom Brennan. Unless one of the other VW Group brands can help out of course…
