Citroen launches new C5 model

Citroen is launching its all-new C5 model in both saloon and estate body styles for the UK market next year.

Citroen will launch its new C5 model next year.

It will be available as a saloon and an estate.

The new C5 will compete with the all-new Ford Mondeo and new Renault Laguna.

There will be the choice of two petrol engines. And four turbo diesels. The diesels will be fitted with particulate filters.

Large Citroens have always majored on ride comfort. The new C5 has a standard set up and ‘Hydractive 3’ which allows a choice of settings.

The new C5 will also feature its novel steering wheel with fixed centre console first seen on the C4 Picasso.

  • 1.8i 16V petrol 127bhp
  • 2.0i 16V petrol 143bhp
  • 1.6 HDI diesel 110bhp
  • 2.0 HDI diesel 138bhp
  • 2.2 HDI diesel 173bhp
  • 2.7 V6 HDI diesel 208bhp
