CHEVROLET has announced prices for its new small SUV, the Trax, which is a sister car to the recently introduced Vauxhall Mokka.
Chevrolet Trax prices will start at £15,495 for the entry-level LS model and £17,495 for the better equipped LT.
LTs get Chevrolet’s latest MyLink radio technology, which pulls content from smartphones onto a seven-inch high resolution touch-screen colour display. That means easy access to personal playlists and phone books, as well as apps like TuneIn internet radio and BringGo for navigation.
Engines include a 140 PS 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol, a 115 PS 1.6-litre petrol without a turbo, and a 1.7-litre 130 PS diesel. Business car buyers will be especially interested in the 1.7 diesel which achieves CO2 emissions of 120g/km.
There’s a choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive power-trains, and all manuals get stop/start technology.
Chevrolet is already taking orders for the Trax, with the first deliveries expected to take place in July.
