CD Auction Group’s Auction Crystallisation Programme will buy your old company cars if they don’t sell straight away through the auctions

SO your new set of company Insignias has arrived, but what do you do with those couple of old Mondeos that need to be turned into quick cash flow?

We reviewed the resale options last week and now, less than seven days on, leading online vehicle remarketing company CD Auction Group, has come up with its own solution which it expects will prove particularly attractive to SMEs and small fleet leasing companies.

The Auction Crystallisation Programme basically works with CD Auction Group buying any vehicle at an agreed value, within 56 hours of it arriving on site.

CD Auction Group will then take on the responsibility and risk of releasing them, at the right time in the right way. Even making decisions about holding vehicles back until market conditions improve.

With expected early demand coming from SMEs, valuations will be based on their fleet profile, previous sale results, and typical returns at CD Auction Group sales.

The key advantages of this programme are that it protects SMEs from the pitfalls of any drop in residual values, guarantees virtually instant cash, plus avoids distress selling and flooding the market.

Finally, unlike standard auctions there is no risk of any vehicles being unsold – so you won’t accumulate storage charges.

Roger Woodward, Managing Director of CD Auction Group said: “This new finance programme, which is unique to CD Auction Group, has the potential to transform the cash flow of companies sending their vehicles to our online auction.

“We believe it could be instrumental in removing some of the blockages in the fleet supply chain by guaranteeing virtually instant cash, up front. This could improve trading conditions across the industry.”
