Carhirebooker improves rental management

Share

30 November 1999

Daily rental firm National Car Rental has upgraded carhirebooker.com.

Small businesses using this online facility will gain improved functionality and cost control.

Carhirebooker.com now incorporates a workflow function. When a driver raises a reservation, details such as vehicle group booked, duration and cost are automatically emailed to the authorising manager.

The manager can then check and approve the vehicle type is appropriate for the task and monitor the rental costs.

Lorraine Farnon, UK sales director and divisional vice president of National Car Rental said: “The greater flexibility means businesses can ensure the driver is using a suitable vehicle.

“With corporate responsibility laws due soon, businesses are using rental as an alternative to staff using their own vehicles for business.

“This development will be an asset to businesses looking for ways to manage and control the use of rental vehicles.”
