BOOM! The epyx 1link Disposal Network platform has just cracked 2000 users for the first time.
According to epyx, there are two key drivers for this growth:
- the availability of better quality vehicles in greater numbers through the platform;
- and the changing preferences of buyers who want to purchase stock online.
Vicky Gardner, remarketing commercial manager at epyx, said:
“We are seeing use of 1link Disposal Network increase massively on a month-by-month basis and that is because we are offering exceptional, ready to retail, mainly ex-fleet stock at a significantly lower cost of acquisition than traditional auctions.
“The new traders we have seen registering to use the platform are coming from right across the board – franchise, independents and car supermarkets – and recent research we have undertaken indicated that 43% of them buy exclusively online.”
Ms Gardner said that another attraction to using the system was the ability of the platform to provide traders with cars and vans that were in a ready to retail state. Epyx added that investment into the 1link Disposal Network had ensured it was market leading in terms of usability and utility.
“The platform is not only one of the longest-established and best-known trade sites but it has been continually developed to meet the needs of dealers today,” added Ms Gardner.
