I’M pleased to say that Business Car Manager Ltd is expanding.

We have acquired the long established Motor Trade News website from Gordon Lyster’s Events & Publishing Ltd.

We will be relaunching it as part of the company’s media group of titles – Business Car Manager, Business Vans, Industry Intelligence and the Leasing Broker Federation.

Motor Trade News will provide crucial reading for both the franchise and non-franchise UK dealer network. We have redesigned the website to provide specific areas of interest for senior managers in the dealer network. It will be essential reading for them and all their staff.

The content focuses on new developments within the industry, from innovations, new products and services through to legislative changes and management appointments. This key information enables dealer network staff to be more successful in their roles and also allows the key suppliers to the market to build strong working relationships with the network.

In addition to the website, dealers also benefit from a bi-weekly newsletter that covers the latest news from the sector, as well as highlighting areas of particular importance to the daily running of their business, along with a specific focus on new job opportunities in the market.

Ratcliffe: connecting all parties involved with acquiring a vehicle

Nick Ratcliffe, Publishing Director of Business Car Manager Limited had this to say on the acquisition of Motor Trade News:

“We have always aimed to provide our audiences with content that is educational, useful and supports them in what they are trying to do.

“The UK Dealer network is central to the automotive industry and bringing Motor Trade News into our group ensures we can now connect all the parties involved with acquiring a vehicle from SMEs and business drivers to van owners and operators while also connecting dealers and leasing brokers.

“We are very excited to be relaunching Motor Trade News and look forward to bringing the UK dealer network into our existing business automotive community.”

Motor Trade News launches on July 24, 2018. It will have a new editor, who is Chris Wright.

I’ve known Chris for a long time He is an extremely experienced journalist with high-level editorial experience of the sector. I’m confident that Chris will bring his industry insight to the website, along with a new, more web-literate style to the sector.

So, an exciting time at Business Car Manager Ltd. And we have more news on the way.

But that’s for laters…
