New Nissan Qashqai
White – colour of choice for new car sales this month. And the Nissan Qashqai was number 6 in the car sales charts

Other key points about March’s new car sales:

  • Average economy is now 57.2mpg
  • White was March’s most popular colour (it was silver last year)
  • CO2 emissions are 26% lower than a decade ago – in March 2014 nearly two thirds of cars had emissions below 130g/km, equivalent to a company car tax band rating of 19% (or 22% for a diesel).
