FLEET drivers who have broken down can help identify them and their stranded vehicle more effectively with this: an LED warning triangle from BriteAngle.
The innovative BriteAngle LED warning triangle uses dynamic high intensity LED lights. These are visible up to 300m away.
The Highway Code requires UK drivers to place a warning triangle 45m behind their vehicle in the event of a breakdown.
The safety device is CE marked. It will withstand up to 45mph winds, and can be folded down to a compact 47cm that can be easily stored in the boot and held in by Velcro.
BriteAngle is one of a number of products being produced by Road Safety Designs, whose founder and managing director, Steve Wornham, Managing Director of Road Safety Designs which makes the BriteAngle, said:
“We wanted to develop a warning triangle that could be used by every vehicle on the road, enhancing safety by cutting down the risk of accidents involving stationery vehicles, and providing greater reassurance for fleet and logistics managers.
“The product is already selling in Germany, France and Italy, and there is interest in the UAE, USA, Scandinavia and the Republic of Ireland.”
The BriteAngle LED warning triangle is backed by FORS.
