Boxster is top of the luxury pops

When small businesses want to impress – or reward staff – there appears to be only one choice.

The Porsche Boxster is the most rented premium car, say Guy Salmon the prestige vehicle renters.

But running fast in its tyre marks is the Mini Cooper S and BMW’s 4×4 X5.

“We’ve found small businesses like the Boxster when they need to impress,” says Dawn Clayton, marketing manager, Guy Salmon Prestige Rental.

“But the key reason they give is to provide a thank you to a member of staff that has topped their sales charts. Prestige rental can be very effective as a motivator.”

So here’s the Guy Salmon top 10:

  • Porsche Boxster
  • Mini Cooper S Convertible
  • BMW X5
  • Mercedes S-class
  • Mercedes CLS class
  • Saab 9-3 Convertible
  • Mazda RX-8
  • Mercedes E-class
  • Range Rover Vogue
  • Aston Martin Vanquish
