THE BMW i3 is available on a business car lease from £339 a month.
The offer is through BMW’s Business Partnership, which is designed for small businesses and SME small fleets.
The BMW i3 business car lease rate also includes the DC rapid charger unit, which is normally a £500 option, and allows quick charging to 80% battery charge within 30 minutes.
The BMW i3 costs more than a BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Business Saloon model to lease (£255 per month). However, the costs aren’t fully comparable as the BMW i3 business car lease is based on a four-year lease period rather than three.
However, the i3 doesn’t have the fuel costs.
Over four years and 10,000 miles per annum, the i3 has fuel cost savings of over £3000 based on current rates:

For the BMW i3 Range Extender model – which uses a small motorbike engine to regenerate the battery when it is depleted to increase usable range from 80 miles to 150 miles – the business car lease rate is £379 per month.
