THE 2-Series may be the newest of BMW’s model lines but the third car in the range is already on the way.
After the 2-Series Coupé and the Golf-rivalling 2-Series Active Tourer, the company is now lining up the 2-Series Convertible for a launch in February 2015.
The new car is intended to replace the previous 1-Series Convertible, and will be offered with a choice of four EU6-compliant TwinPower Turbo engines, which, according to BMW achieve an average of 18 per cent better fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions compared with their predecessors.
