Avis: quick step to growth

335 rental locations for business car and business van rental

THE red corporate image of Avis is spreading. And it’s spreading quicker than any other rental company as Avis announced it had become the fastest growing car rental company in the UK.

Avis said that it had quadrupled its number of rental locations across the UK in the last 12 months, bringing its total rental location number to 335, which means your business will be able to locate a rental centre more conveniently.

The growing UK network of Avis rental centres now embraced 29 airport locations and 306 town and city locations, including partnerships with local hotels, golf clubs, leisure centres and managed offices.

Avis said it also operated 46 pick up points at rail stations across the country, to provide a taxi service to the nearest rental station.

“A 300% growth of rental locations year-on-year is a massive development for Avis, and moves us a step closer to making quality car hire accessible and convenient to everyone,” said Anthony Ainsworth, Avis commercial director.

“As the fastest growing car rental company in the UK, we are committed to continuing to expand our UK network and hope the new locations will benefit an increasing number of customers by making quality car hire available to more people.”

Avis recently began renting business vans too called Avis Commercial Vehicles which promises a ‘no turn-down’ guarantee on a range of commercial vehicles.

Avis said the van rental business was perfectly placed for small businesses and SME van operators that needed to access London occasionally but didn’t have a Low Emission Zone compliant business van.

“We are providing a service that fits within their business needs,” added Anthony.
