GREAT news! The 2015 BVRLA Broker200 kart race raised more than £6000 for the automotive industry charity BEN.

Which is a fantastic result.

Congratulations to the BVRLA’s Leasing Broker Committee who organised the endurance kart event at the 1150m Daytona Milton Keynes circuit.

Mike Potter, BVRLA broker committee chairman, said:

“Once again, the sun shone on Milton Keynes for the third annual Broker200 kart race, and we’re really pleased at the number of participants who entered the race. Their generosity has resulted in a huge amount of money being raised for BEN, and that we had fun while doing it is just a bonus.”

After 118 laps of competitive racing, the team entered by Enterprise Rent-A-Car took the chequered flag. The team’s quickest driver Peter Cole also set the fastest lap on the day, with a time of 1.10.428.

Second place went to the team from FleetDrive, who trailed the lead kart by just 21 seconds after two-and-a-half hours. Finishing third was the PHVC kart, just 51 seconds behind the leader.

The Small Fleet Leasing Federation helped sponsor the event by supporting the thirst-quenching drinks bar, while Federation member Fleet Alliance and Federation supporter Arval also helped sponsor the event.
