PUBLIC relations specialist Jon Zammett, Audi Head of Public Relations, is to retire at the end of June after 18 years in the role.

Jon, who joined the Volkswagen Group in 1991 as Head of Public Relations at SEAT, has played a significant role in transforming Audi’s brand image.

Since January 2000 he has delivered over 300 new model press launches as well as building influential relationships for the Audi brand

“I’m enormously proud of our achievements at Audi over the last 18 years and I owe a great deal to my dedicated Press and PR team and all those who supported and collaborated with us to deliver this dramatic transformation,” said Jon Zammett on his retirement.

“We have always focused our attention on making headlines and creating ‘money-can’t-buy’ occasions, and Audi will continue to be long remembered for this kind of unique saliency.”

Andrew Doyle, Director of Audi said:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jon for his passionate and professional contribution to our business and wish him a long and happy retirement.”

Audi will now start the recruitment search for Jon’s replacement.
