DESPITE making the dash to 62mph in under five-seconds and a licence-losing 155mph top speed, the highest performance TT coupe yet – the TT-S, boasts emissions up to 169g/km and BIK up to 26%.
It’s less of a corporate model than the rest of the TT range
So will these competitive emission and BIK figures make the TT-S appeal more to corporate buyers? I asked TT Product Manager Julie Salsbury what she thought.
“It’s less of a corporate model than the rest of the TT range, but at the same time the new TT-S will be more in people’s bands.
It really depends on what they’re doing if it’s a user-chooser list, or how it fits with people’s budgets.
The previous model was 10 to 15% of the mix, the new model has the potential to be more – but it’s hard to say.
Again it’s more about the lifestyle, S4’s or RS4’s for the space, but if you’re not limited by that, it has definitely got to be the TT-S.”
