TAKE note all you small business owners and SME directors.
If you want a little powerhouse that gives you prestige, performance and practicality without smacking you in the pocket, then take a look at this.
Slow is not a word that will often be associated with the new 310PS Audi RS Q3
The Audi RS Q3.
According to those residual forecasting chaps from CAP, it’s an RV busting SUV.
That’s residual values, sports utility vehicle and – well, apparently a long time ago, Current Average Prices – to get the acronyms out of the way.
If you want an SUV for your business car, then the Audi RS Q3 is the one that breaks all the rules of losing shedloads on the value.
It’s not only the best to hold onto its value in the SUV sector, says CAP, but it is only outperformed on the RV stakes by the Porsche Cayman. Which, let’s face it, doesn’t have the same level of practicality.
Experts at CAP Monitor reckon the Audi high performance division quattro model, available to order priced at £43,000 OTR, will retain 52% of its original value after three years/60,000 miles.
Tip in the fact that you get a 2.5-litre 310PS five-cylinder turbo engine – with its brilliantly offbeat warble – and you truly have something different.
“Slow is not a word that will often be associated with the new 310PS Audi RS Q3,” commented James Douglas, head of Audi fleet sales, “but it certainly applies to the pace at which it depreciates according to CAP Monitor.
“All Audi models are characterised by strong residual values, but the RS Q3 sets a particularly high benchmark,” he added.
