18-inch alloys, sports suspension and LED headlights are all standard on the new Audi TT

CO2 emissions are as low as 137g/km for the petrol car and 110g/km for the diesel, which should provide quite a good style/tax trade-off for company car drivers.

The Audi “virtual cockpit”, which will be fitted to all new TTs, is based on a 12.3-inch LCD screen that replaces the traditional instrument pack. Drivers can opt to show a “traditional” display with the speedometer and rev counter dominating, or instead select an “infotainment” mode in which the main instruments are smaller and are joined by display elements for the sat nav and so on.

Sport models get the Multi Media Interface infotainment system with a touch pad for fingertip data entry, navigation preparation, Audi Music Interface and Bluetooth, the Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system and keyless go. Alcantara and leather combination upholstery and manual air conditioning are also standard.

Outside, there are 18-inch ten-spoke alloys, sports suspension, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and an active rear spoiler.

S line cars get larger nineteen-inch alloy wheels, as well as LED headlights and tail lamps. There’s also a no-cost option to swap to a firmer S line sports suspension set-up that also reduces ride height by 10mm.

Among the options available is a Technology Package, which includes hard disk-based navigation mapping and an Audi connect in-car Internet hotspot.
