AUDI has announced a series of mid-life updates to the A6 designed to keep its equipment levels and economy competitive. The changes also cover the high-performance S6 saloon and the Avant estate models.
Externally, the revised cars can be recognised by tweaks to the large trademark Audi grille, air inlets bumpers, rear lights and exhaust tail-pipes. All A6 SE models will get xenon headlamps and S line cars will get LED headlamps. Matrix LED headlights will be option on some high-end versions.
Internal revisions are mainly aimed at giving the S Line models a brighter look, with a new “Lunar Silver” colour scheme and a choice of headlinings (previously only black) now available. The MMI infotainment system is also upgraded and there’s now the option of 4G data connectivity as well.
