Audi A4 2.0 TDI 120PS SE car review
What is it?
AUDI’S elegant A4 range has been extended with a lower tune version of its 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine – the Audi A4 2.0 TDI 120PS SE. Instead of the 143PS engine, there’s a 120PS diesel unit, improved fuel economy and a drop in the company car tax band. And, of course, there’s a useful price drop.
What’s hot?
- More affordable step into the A4 diesel range
- Over 55mpg fuel economy…
- …and an 18% company car tax rating
- You‚’ll not really notice the 23PS power shortfall
- Spacious, grown-up interior – best in class
- And you still get SE standard specification…
- …alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, auto headlights and wipers
What’s not?
- The engine doesn’t have the 143PS unit’s crispness of response
- …but only if that will bother you
- It’s only really a comfortable four-seater
- You need to spend some money on getting the right options…
- …such as Audi phone preparation high
- Other desirable options really push up price
