Alphabet celebrates Best Car Scheme Provider ALPHABET celebrates the Best Car Scheme Provider title in the 2017 Workplace Savings & Benefits Awards.

Among the room of HR directors and senior procurement professionals, Alphabet head of corporate partnerships Bernadette Maguire collected the award on behalf of the company.

Deborah Jenkins, general manager of customer relationship management, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised with this award. It reflects the tremendous efforts of the entire Alphabet team and the significant progress that we’ve made over the past 12 months.

“We invest huge efforts of time, energy and training to make sure that we are providing customers with outstanding levels of service and forward-thinking strategic direction.

“This award is also important recognition and a ‘thank you’ to those forward-thinking, progressive Alphabet customers across the corporate, SME and public sectors with whom we work with so closely.

“Over the past year we have led the way in bringing ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) into fleets, making low-emission, sustainable mobility an everyday reality. Last year, over 10% of OLEV grant-eligible vehicles in the UK in 2016 were delivered via Alphabet.

“We have provided a range of innovative products and services that boost productivity for drivers and the fleet teams, through corporate car sharing with AlphaCity, flexible rental via AlphaRent, teleservices and more convenient, digitised ways to interact with us.

“I’m particularly pleased that our unique dual approach to account and service management in the corporate arena has been recognised for the way it helps customers manage today’s complex fleet requirements, as well as anticipating the mobility needs of tomorrow.”

Jenkins concluded: “Mobility seems to be the word on everybody’s lips at the moment but at Alphabet it’s something we’ve been focused on since 2010. For us mobility isn’t just the future, its right now.

“This award is recognition that in 2017 the ‘company car scheme’ is a vital operational and strategic piece of the corporate mobility jigsaw. Thank you to all of our customers for your continued support.”

Jonathan Stapleton, editor-in-chief of Workplace Savings & Benefits, added: “Alphabet has led the way in bringing ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) into fleet use. The firm’s innovative AlphaCity corporate car sharing solution helps clients reduce costs and benefits both drivers and fleet managers.

“The judges were particularly impressed by the company’s two productivity-boosting products – teleservices and virtual handover – as well as the introduction of both a new service management team and a customer first contact team who provide a one-call resolution for all ‘in-life’ customer enquiries.”
