The all-new Audi A4 Avant estate car will go on sale this June.
Audi Centres will commence taking orders from March 03.
The Audi A4 Avant joins the newly extended Audi A4 range of saloons. Prices are expected to be £1200 more than the equivalent four-door model, with prices ranging from £22,590 to £30,290.
The new Audi A4 Avant will be available in SE and more sporting S line specifications.
The cargo area of the new Audi A4 Avant will be, at 490 litres, the largest in class with the standard split/folding rear seat in place. The all-new Mercedes C-Class estate has 485 litres.
With the rear seat folded, this extends to 1430 litres (1500 litres in the Mercedes C-Class estate).
An optionally available powered tailgate is available to access the A4 Avant’s load bay. The load floor is reversible, so muddy or wet items can be carried without ruining the carpet.
The Audi A4 Avant will also benefit from the saloon’s longest-in-class wheelbase, providing more cabin space and increased leg room for rear seat passengers.
There is the choice of five engines: two petrol and three diesel. And three transmission choices: six-speed manual; six-speed tiptronic auto; and Audi’s Multitronic CVT auto.
