THE Alfa Romeo Giulietta first appeared in the 1950s but has since seen many redesigns and improvements to make it the compact hatchback it is today.

Generally speaking, the Giulietta has a choice of three petrol engines as well as three diesels. According to UK’s Autocar, the petrol options are the 118bhp 1.4-litre, a 168bhp 1.4-litre MultiAir model, and the 232bhp 1750 TBi Cloverleaf.
The diesel options are a 104bhp 1.6-litre, a 134bhp 1.6-litre, or the 168bhp 2.0-litre. All models have a six-speed manual gearbox but an upgrade to the dual-clutch TCT automatic transmission is available. The available trims range from the standard Turismo, the Lusso, the Veloce, the Sportiva, and the top of the line Cloverleaf.
