The business risk and driver training arm of the AA – AA DriveTech – has just appointed a new fleet director.

Simon Stammers, with a background in information management, joins the company following the departure of Paul Holmes.

Simon’s focus, along with his eight strong Fleet Safe team, will be on the company car and business van market, while also looking at how AA DriveTech can provide support to the HGV as well as the coach and bus sector.

“In driver education the AA Group really does offer a one-stop service, with AA DriveTech providing the jewel in the crown with its business driver-focused suite of compliance, assessment and training interventions,” commented Simon on his appointment.

Those SMEs with a small fleet may want to consider driver training for their company car drivers as part of the firm’s company car management programme.
