Top tips from the FSB and ASC Finance

I received this sound advice from the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

The organisation, which represents small business interests, has joined forces with ASC Finance for Business to help small businesses beat the credit crunch as the economy slows.

The FSB’s top tips are:

1 Financial flexibility: deal with more than one bank;

2 Focus on your unique selling points: work hard to get lucky;

3 Plan ahead: failing to plan is planning to fail;

4 Manage your costs: do something different; and

5 Seek professional advice: don
