Which? report confirms ‘eco’ cars aren’t the cash savers you think

THE latest issue of consumer magazine Which? has highlighted something we’ve always cautioned against: the amount of money ‘eco’ cars, those with virtuous-sounding green tags in their model names, will save you. It’s often not as much as you think. And might even cost you.

Which? decided to compare some of these ultra fuel-efficient cars against the standard models in the range. Which? found that the 2.0-litre Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion saved
